If you've got an iPhone you know you've got to plug it in every night or somewhere around noon of the next day your adorable little iPhone won't be coming out to play. If you forget to plug in your phone there are a couple of devices which can help.
First up is Richard Solo's Backup Battery for iPhone http://richardsolo.com/ which retails for $49.95. You can charge up this rechargeable lithium-ion battery either via USB or, using the included wall charger and a standard AC outlet. One of the best features of this product is that at night, you snap the battery and iPhone together, and charge them both with the included charger. You'll wake up in the morning with both fully charged. A cool feature of the device is that when you travel, you don't need to take along the Apple charger. The company claims that the Backup Battery will provides up to twice the talk or surf time of the regular battery which should keep you going until you can get home to charge everything up over night.
The second device I found was InCharge FM www.xtrememac.com ($70) which plugs into the cigarette lighter in your car. Not only does the device charge your iPhone or iPod but it also lets you play your tunes through the radio. The InCharge FM has its own buttons for play/pause, next track, and previous track, and it lets you store two station presets for quick access.
