Cool Stuff for Your Phone!

If you've gotten a new phone lately it's pretty cool, but there's even more cool stuff you can get to make it even better. For Windows Mobile Smartphones there's Agile Messenger. The best IM application lets you log on to AOL, ICQ, MSN, and Yahoo simultaneously and chat away. It's a free download at agilemobile.com.

Then there's Clear Vue Suite, a package of Microsoft Office and PDF document readers. This application allows you to read e-mail attachments and other documents in their native formats, maintaining most formatting. Clear Vue Suite is $29.95 direct at www.westtek.com

Next up, Photo Contacts adds photos to you smart-phone address book and caller ID. It's easy to use, automatically finding photos on your phone with the same name as your contacts and letting you crop them. Photo Contacts is $19.99 list from www.pocketx.net.

Lastly for the Smartphone is Xbar 2.0 which allows you to switch between running programs, quit programs quickly and check your current memory and battery usage. Xbar is $6 list at xetranet.free.fr.

For Palm OS phones there's Beyond Contacts which syncs with Outlook and looks like Outlook on your phone. It even places a Today screen on top of your calendar. Beyond Contacts is $29.99 from www.dataviz.com.
