Drive Me Up a Wall
by Gary Woods

A lot of you out there have got a very cool Plasma or LCD TV somewhere in your house. The question is where do you want to put it? Often where you'd like to place it is above your fireplace or somewhere up on a wall. The problem is that most of us don't have outlets four and five feet off the floor that we can plug into. To solve this problem a company called PowerBridge came up with an In Wall Power Extension System.

Professional installers know that you should not run the TV power cord or an extension cord inside the wall because it is against all building/electrical codes throughout the country. You could get an electrician to install a regular power outlet branched off the nearest outlet but that will not provide any benefit to surge protect that expensive HDTV.

PowerBridge is a cost effective In-Wall Electrical Extension Solution to protect expensive Home theater HDTV equipment from surge damage and when connected to a Power Surge/Conditioner it is a great way to provide clean A/C power to your devices.

PowerBridge can be installed, usually in 30 minutes, at the same time as the HDTV installation. It can be wired to multiple receptacle outlets throughout the system or home, allowing all HDTV Audio and Video equipment to be power-protected through a single Power Surge Protection/Conditioning Console.

PowerBridge has a lot of different configurations which can help you hook up whatever configuration of audio and video equipment that you have.
