Good News, Bad News
by Gary Woods All the new features on cell phones are great fun, but the problem is how do you get all your phone numbers and calendar data from the old phone to the new one? The coolest solution I've found for this is DataPilot www.datapilot.com. DataPilot's cell phone sync solution provides one central location for your cell phone, Outlook, Outlook Express and Palm contacts. It also allows you to stay in sync with your Outlook appointments anytime, anywhere plus you can transfer your favorite photos on your camera phone to DataPilot and email them to friends and family. With DataPilot you have no more hassles punching in all those phone numbers. You can conveniently add, edit and delete cell phone numbers from your computer with easy sync to your cell phone. This also means that if you lose your cell phone and all of your contacts are gone DataPilot can quickly restore that information. Other features on DataPilot are Internet Data Connection on phones that support this feature. A Ringtone Composer that allows you to download, edit and create your own Ringtones. And there's an SMS (Small Message Service) manager that allows you to save Messages to your computer instead of storing them on your phone. Finally there's an Image Editor that allows you to take a picture with your camera phone and save it to your PC then modify your picture in image editor and upload it back to your phone.
