Google is Everywhere!!

A lot of us use Google throughout the day but sometimes we're too busy to look for things or maybe we're away from our computers. To help us with these little problems Google has Google Alerts. You can go to www.googlealerts.com/alerts and enter your query, how often you want to receive the notifications and put in your e-mail address. How cool is that? There is also a third party service called www.googlealert.com which is not affiliated with Google that will allow you to run multiple queries.

If you just want to run a query only once you can use Cape Clear's Google by E-mail. Send a note to google@capeclear.com with your query in the subject line, and you'll get the first ten results back by email.

If you're an on the go kind of person and would like to leave your browser behind try instant messaging to get answers from Google. Yahoo Instant Messenger (YIMGoogle) provides search results right to your Wireless equipped PDA or cell phone.

You'll find instructions for using YIMGoogle at www.tropo.com/techno/java/yimgoogle. For Mac OS X users, there's a Perl script called Googlematic that lets you search Google via AIM or MSN (www.macupdate.com/info.pgp/id/7633).

Google offers another form of search by cell phone called Froogle Wireless http://labs.google.com/frooglewml.html. This site allows any WML capable cell phone to search Froogle's catalog of online products.
