It's In My Locker
by Gary Woods
Back in High School I used to keep all the books I wasn't using at the moment in my locker. I think it was secure because nobody had the combination. Did they?? Okay somebody with a screwdriver and a hammer could have that thing open in about 30 seconds, but who wanted my old Science Textbook anyway?
Today a lot of us carry around a lot of important stuff. Social Security numbers, passwords, bank records and who knows what? The most important fact is that it's our stuff and we don't want anybody to get it.
To help you keep your stuff secure I found Data Locker www.datalockerdrive.com which is the only portable hard drive which is 100% platform independent. This means that all of the security measures are performed on the device itself. Unlike other secure devices which require authentication on a computer which may be infected itself, Data Locker users must authenticate themselves via a touch screen panel on the device.
The Data Locker's unique authentication system eliminates the threat of infected systems, keyboard loggers or brute force attacks. This authentication system coupled with the hardware based 128 or 256 bit AES/CBC Mode full drive encryption provides great security.
The drives are 2.5 inch SATA and run at 5400 RMP with an 8MB buffer and connect to the computer using USB 2.0. They come in 120GB, 250GB and 320GB capacities and are 5" X 3" X 0.8" in size and weigh only 9 ounces. Best of all they're compatible with any and all Operating Systems.
