Jaksta In the House
by Gary Woods
We're surrounded by videos that we'd love to share with our friends on our smart phones or pad devices. Whether you stand in the Apple iOS universe or are seduced by the folks from Google and their Android offerings you'd love to be able to show that amazing video you just discovered to your friends but you don't want to keep sucking the life out of your data plan.
The problem is, how do you get those videos off your computer and onto your devices? One solution is a program called Jaksta http://www.jaksta.com/ for Mac or PC. With it you can download video and audio files from thousands of website as they play on your computer. Then, you can transfer them over to your iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, Android Phone or Pad or burn the data to a CD or DVD.
Whether you're looking to download FLV, WMA, Real Audio, MP3, MOV or any of a plethora of formats Jaksta has you covered. After that, when you're ready to move the data over to your device just pull down the conversion tab and choose the format you desire including Playstation 3, PSP, Google TV as well as all the Apple and Android offerings.
Jaksta couldn't be simpler or easier to use to grab the data you want and send it to the device you desire and you can try it for free. The only limitations on the trial version are that it will download only 50% of any on-demand video or audio and you can save up to only one minute of any live stream. But, if YouTube is your site of choice it will download 100% of from there. If Jaksta works for you it's $49.95.
