Just Too Many Pictures!!
by Gary Woods Most of us have a lot of digital pictures. The cool thing about digital photos of course is that you don't have to print them if you don't want to. You can just leave them on your hard drive or burn CDs of all of them. So, what are you going to do with them all? You probably looked at those pictures of your last vacation once and then archived them never to be seen again. It's a shame really, because I'll bet you've got some pretty great memories in all that stuff, but who has enough wall space to show off even a tiny fraction of the pictures you've taken. So, whadda' ya' gonna' do? Well it turns out there are a number of companies such as Phlips, Smartparts and Westinghouse that have entered the digital photo frame fray. The one I looked at; the Westinghouse DPF-0561 has a 5.6 inch LCD screen and supports standard JPEG pictures and even AVI video files. With the Westinghouse you can not only change your pictures at the click of a button, but it also comes with three interchangeable frames including mahogany, brushed aluminum and black. The device has 8 MB of internal memory and also accepts such memory cards as CompactFlash, Memory Stick, MultiMediaCard and xD storage media. You can even transfer photos in via USB. The DPF-0561 retails for $179.99, but hey, it's the only picture frame you'll ever need.
