Pastebot

If you've got an iPhone or an iPod Touch you know that one of the coolest features in OS 3.0 is cut and paste. When you couldn't do something before and now all of a sudden you can it's great but I think most of us feel that we're still missing something with this feature. To flesh cut and paste out more fully, Tapbots the makers of Weightbot for tracking your weight and Convertbot for converting measurements came up with something called Pastebot http://tapbots.com/software/pastebot/.

Pastebot is a powerful clipboard manager that stores text & images copied from your iPhone/iPod Touch. It allows you to organize your clippings, apply filters to those images, and copy clippings to be pasted or sent to other apps.

In addition to being able to save, organize and edit text and images Pastebot gives you a search and replace capability and you can put data into folders to organize what you've copied.

You can send clippings as emails within the app or save images back to your photo library and if you have a Mac you can push text and images from the Mac to Pastebot instantly over wi-fi as well as bringing clippings from your Mac over to your iPhone.

Pastebot works with any iPhone and iPod touch running version 3.0 software or later and to use Pastebot Synch with a Mac requires OSX 10.5+ on your computer. You can find Pastebot on the App Store for $2.99.
