Last week we looked at guides for New York and San Francisco today we'll examine London and Paris. In London when you want to get around get Tube Tracker-London Edition. It's $2.99 and gives you plenty of options for exploring the city car-free. There up to the minutes updates on the Tube, Docklands Light Railway and London Overground.
If you want to know what's going on in London there's Riverside London a free app that will make you aware of all the cool happenings along the River Thames and keep you abreast of theatre, live music, art exhibitions, food markets, shopping restaurants and bars in Southbank, Bankside and London Bridge.
In Paris you'll want to the ride the Metro and to do so you need to get Paris Metro-Map and Route Planner. Just enter in your departing station and the stop closest to your destination and the app will calculate your best route complete with line changes and estimated journey time.
When you're in Paris what else would you do but eat so you need The New Food Lover's Guide to Paris ($4.99). This guide by global food critic Patricia Wells tells you about more than 350 amazing dining spots from Michelin starred restaurants to the best eateries for diners on a budget.
Then, if you're still ready to go after eating get GoGoParis ($3.99) which was created by a team of hip locals to assist tourists in scouting out the latest off-the-beaten path happenings. You can search by neighborhood or view special listings of recently opened establishments.
