When you're on the phone what is the one thing that you can guarantee won't be close by? Well maybe you'll have one half of the equation but not the other! Okay, you guessed it, a pen and paper to write on. If you've got the pen you can scrawl on your hand and then spend the rest of the day trying to get the ink washed off. Or, if you've got a pad and no pen you can use your fingernail to try and imprint some information you'll hopefully be able to decipher later on the paper.
The one thing you'll almost undoubtedly have if you're sitting at your computer is a mouse pad. You were wondering where all this was going, weren't you? Well the nice folks at Quirky (www.quirky.com) have come up with Scratch-N-Scroll which is a mouse pad that you can write on. You can use either the built in plastic stylus as a pen or if you've misplaced the stylus you can even use your finger.
Scratch-N-Scroll works in conjunction with any optical / ball based computer mouse and features a non-slip back pad ensuring that it stays put on your desktop while in use. Once you've transferred the data to wherever you need it go you just flip up the semi-transparent top sheet to make your notations disappear.
Scratch-N-Scroll from Quirky retails for $14.99 and you get it direct from them on the website and while you're on the site check out some of the other cool stuff they've got just waiting for you.
