Shuffle Up and Deal
by Gary Woods
For all you iPod fans out thee you know that Apple's MP3 player comes in several different shapes. They go all the way from the "does everything in the world" iPod Touch to the iPod Classic, the Nano and the miniscule Shuffle, Apple has an iPod for every taste and pocket book.
The new iPod shuffle is the world's smallest music player. The unit is so small that instead of a screen to display information it has the new VoiceOver feature, which is a voice that tells you the song title, artist names, and the names of your playlists too.
The only real problem is that the Shuffle is so small and scratch prone that some third party manufactures have come up with some very attractive cases so you can treat these tiny players a little rougher than you would if they were totally unprotected.
Maybe because of my famous sweet tooth or just because I thought it looked cool I noticed a cover from the Shuffle from SwitchEasy (www.switcheasy.com) called the ChocoShuffle. This $9 cover is available in milk chocolate, white chocolate, or strawberry chocolate and is a silicone case that turns your iPod Shuffle into a realistic looking chunk of a chocolate bar.
The case fits the Shuffle perfectly, exposing only the headphone jack and control switch on top and the Shuffle's clip on the back. The thick silicone protects your Shuffle and enhances your grip on the device. If you've always been looking for a way to carry a chocolate bar around without it melting in your hand the ChocoShuffle is for you.
