So.... Where Are They????

After last week's column I figured the gifts would start rolling in. But after checking my box at Casa I discovered that not a whole lot of you took the bait. Okay.... so none of you took the bait. Well in the words of the famous old Motown Hit, "I ain't too proud to beg." So here goes list number two.

The Mobile Infrared Transmitter (MIRT) Traffic Light Control Device tops my must have list. For only $489 I could change any red light to green with the push of a button. The MIRT's 14-Hz transmitter hacks the emergency traffic light protocol by emitting an infrared strobe with a range of up to 1,500 feet. This thing is actually illegal unless you're an ambulance driver; firefighter or cop so I won't tell anybody you bought it for me unless I'm busted.

Second is the Akron LavNav Toilet Night-Light. This small device fits under the toilet lid and has a built-in motion detector that senses your approach. The best part is it glows a verdant green if the seat is down and a night-vision red if it's up. For only $20 you folks are getting off really cheap.

Finally is the EluminX Illuminated Computer Keyboard. The eerie blue-green light emanates from below the translucent keyboard and is very cool for late night web surfing. It's only $80 so you don't have to dig too deep. Now get out there and spend!!!
