When you've got a pretty large music collection the problem becomes where are my tunes when I want them? Music Catalogue Master 4 helps you organize and maintain even the largest music collections by seamlessly integrating local and online resources.

The Auto CD Entry function let you add a disc to your collection by simply inserting it into a drive. The program automatically queries Gracenote, the online music database to download information, including the title, genre, label, and release year of the CD, and the performer, composer and duration of each track. To add an LP you merely enter the title and artist name, and the program retrieves similar information from the freedb online service.

Music Catalogue Master lets you manually enter many other types of data about each album, including chart and sales statistics, location on your rack, buying and selling histories, disc and cover condition, lyrics and freehand notes. Classical releases have additional fields such as orchestra, conductor, and soloist, and you can even track the names of actors and their roles in operas and soundtracks.

Music Catalogue Master's flexible search engine can use almost any combination of these items to locate recordings in your collection, and the program can print a mind-numbing 130 types of reports or save them as Web pages or Acrobat files.
