Your Morning Coffee
by Gary Woods
The coolest thing about using Mozilla's Firefox is all the add-ons. I know other browsers have add-ons but I just find Firefox's the most interesting. Most of us when we sit down to our computer in the morning have a set routine of places we browse to. I look at my rankings on Google, make my blog posts to my blog, Real Estate Webmaster and Scribbled then stop by my Webmail account finishing up by checking the Hot Sheet in the Multiple Listing Service.
To streamline my journey through the day there's a Firefox add-on called Morning Coffee. With this add-on when I open the browser it instantly loads those and other designated favorites into their own tabs displaying them across the browser like sections of a newspaper.
When you install the add-on you'll see a new coffee-cup icon to the left of the Firefox address bar. You then go to a site you designate as a favorite, click the down arrow next to the coffee cup and then mouse over "Add to My Morning Coffee."
When the menu opens you'lll see options like "Every Day" individual days of the week and "Weekends." You then designate which day or days you want an event to occur. To manage your entries like changing the display order and the like click the down arrow and choose "Configure Morning Coffee."
Morning Coffee is a fun little add-on which should speed you into your day and get you to where you really want to be, drinking your own cup of coffe.
