| The photo on the left is now Aldo's but for years it was the Copper Coffee Pot which was another place that the elite met in Santa Barbara. Originally the Copper Coffee Pot was a Mannings Cafeteria but for years afterward it was simply known as "The Pot." One interesting note about the old Copper Coffee Pot was that originally there was a small second business right next door where Merlo's Cutlerly resided. This little tiny shop was a result of the survey made by Capt. Haley that caused some of the blocks and storefronts to be not entirely uniform. |
