For the Santa Barbara Real Estate condo market West of State St. the number of listings is up 17% from 79 last year to 93 this year. The new listings are also up from 69 last year to 79 this year for an increase of 14%. The number of sales is up only by one however from 59 last year to 60 this year, but the average sales price is up from $657,182 to $747,767 for an increase of 13%.
In the Single Family dwelling market of Santa Barbara Real Estate’s West of State area listings are up from 200 last year to 223 this year an increase of 11% but new listings are up dramatically with 156 last year to 188 this year for an increase of 20%. The number of sales however is down from 131 last year to 114 this year or a decrease of -12%. The average sales price however is up 15% from $974,107 to $1,122,862.
