For the Santa Barbara Real Estate condo market in the Goleta South Area the number of listings are up with 47 last year to 62 this year for an increase of 31%. Likewise the numbers of new listings to come on the market this year are up with 54 this year as opposed to 43 last year for an increase of 25%. The number of sales however is up only slightly with 40 this year as opposed to 38 last year for an increase of just 5%. The average sales price is up however about 12% with $502,500 last year vs. $566,271 this year.
In the Single Family dwelling market of Santa Barbara Real Estate’s Goleta South area listings are off with 72 this year vs. 87 for last year. The new listings are also off with 73 last year and only 64 this year or a decrease of -12%. The number of sales is off dramatically with only 35 sales this year vs. 60 last year for a decrease of a whopping
-41%. Even so, the Average sales price continues to increase with $887,622 last year and just under the Million Dollar mark at $988,787 this year for an increase of 11%.
