The number of sales is also up by 3 for a 2% increase. With sales up for the area the Average Sales Price continues to rise. Last year at this time it was $691,820 and this year its up to $765,215 for an increase of 10%.
In the Single Family Home market for the Santa Barbara Real Estate area of West of State St there are 43 more properties on the market right now as opposed to last year for a total of 412, and there are more new listings this year with 325 for last year vs. 377 for this year. The sales are down with 244 this year vs. 257 last year for a -5% decrease. But the Average Sales Price is up $1,010,459 last year to $1,175,371 this year for a 16% increase.
In the Planned Unit Development Market of the Santa Barbara Real Estate area of West of State St there are exactly the same numbers of properties on the market right now as opposed to last year for a total of 7, but there is one more new listing this year with 5 for last year vs. 6 for this year. The sales just like Condos are down with 4 this year vs. 5 last year for a -20% decrease. But the Average Sales Price is up from $846,400 last year to $1,306,250 this year for a 54% increase.
