Santa Barbara Real Estate Comparison of this Year vs. Last for Goleta North through June 28, ‘07

In the Goleta Real Estate North area of Santa Barbara Real Estate for the Condo Market the number of total listings for ‘06 versus what was on the market last year at this time is up by 4 for a total of 79 properties that have been active this year and the New Listings that came on this year are down by 5 for an -8% decrease. The number of sales is down 6 from where it was last year for a -22% decrease, and the Average Sales Price is down. Last year at this time it was $636,462 and this year it’s at $544,600 for a decrease of -14%.

In the Single Family Home market for the Santa Barbara Real Estate area of Goleta Real Estate North there are 11 more properties that have been active this year as opposed to last year for a total of 210, but there are fewer new listings this year with 160 for last year vs. 149 for this year. The sales are up with 72 this year vs. 67 last year for a 7% increase. And the Average Sales Price is up from $1,058,462 last year to $1,233,927 this year for a 16% increase.

In the Planned Unit Development Market of the Santa Barbara Real Estate area of Goleta Real Estate North there have been 5 more properties that have been active this year as opposed to last year for a total of 15 but there are exactly the same numbers of new listing with 10 for last year vs. 10 for this year. The sales are up with 6 this year vs. 2 last year for a 200% increase. But the Average Sales Price is down from $924,450 last year to $894,250 this year for a -3% decrease.
