Santa Barbara Real Estate for the first 6 Months of ’07 for Montecito

For the Santa Barbara Real Estate area of Montecito Real Estate for the first 6 months of ’07 in the Single Family Home market 105 homes closed escrow with a median sold price of $2,900,000 and an average sold price of $3,674,772. 180 homes came on the market with a median asking price of $3,225,000 and an average asking price of $4,753,427. Also for that period 109 properties went into escrow, 19 were withdrawn from the market, 24 listings cancelled, 53 expired and 41 came back on the market. Currently there are 57 homes for sale in the area with a median list price of $3,600,000 and an average list price of $6,071,936.

For the Santa Barbara Real Estate area of Montecito Real Estate for the first six months of ’07 in the Condo market 18 condos closed escrow with a median sold price of $1,362,500 and an average sold price of $1,778,055. 21 condos came on the market with a median asking price of $1,275,000 and an average asking price of $1,710,761. Also for that period 13 properties went into escrow, 2 were withdrawn from the market, 4 listings cancelled, 6 expired and 2 came back on the market. Currently there are 10 condos for sale in the area with a median list price of $1,050,000 and an average list price of $1,453,256.
